Hey HABJ! It’s Holiday Party time!
HOUSTON – The holiday season is here and it is time for us to join together to celebrate! Save these dates:
**The Black Alliance Committee Holiday Social is Thursday, November 29 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the House of Blues, in the Peacock Room.
There will be free admission for paid HABJ members -- $15 cover charge otherwise—and an unwrapped toy for the toy drive gets you a drink ticket.
**Houston’s Journalists of Color – The Houston Association of Black Journalists (HABJ), the Houston Association of Hispanic Media Professionals (HAHMP) and the Texas chapter of the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) – will join Inprint for a holiday gathering with food and drinks at Leo Bar at the Asia Society Texas Center (1370 Southmore St.), Thursday, December 6, from 5:30 to 8:30.
The admittance is free, but there is a cash bar. HABJ members will receive on free drink ticket.
